Purpose:

Providing excellent customer service, by booking in faulty equipment, greet customers and answer their questions in friendly, conversational manner. Communicate effectively with other members of staff and maintain a professional attitude even in the face of challenges, such as an irate client. Strive to provide customers with the best experience possible and work to solve problems quickly. Assisting service front counter with book in as well as book out of jobs in customer stores as requested where needed.


Responsibilities:

  • Return the repaired goods to the correct customer on collection with 100% accuracy.
  • Escalate unresolved customer queries and complaints to the Supervisor.
  • Complete all the fields on the book in page (fault description, contact details and condition of unit) with 100% accuracy, together with the notebook checklist and general checklist.
  • Immediately carry out warranty checks during book in on all units brought for repair.
  • Report on action taken on uncollected repairs.
  • Ensure that all stock returned for credit is checked by a technician before it is credited.
  • Phone or e-mail clients to collect stock and update the system.
  • Check all shelves in the customer store to compare stock list with actual stock.
  • Filling.
  • Maintain good housekeeping of the front counter.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Matric
  • A+ Certified and N+ would be added as advantage
  • +3 years’ experience in a similar role
